Exploring the Botanical Gardens in Wellington, New Zealand
One of the highlights of our time spent in Wellington, New Zealand was when we were exploring the Botanical Gardens. The gardens were amazing; I could have spent hours alone in the Lady Norwood Rose Garden. I snapped so many photos of the gorgeous blooms that I had to slow down before my camera ran out of space. From Palmer's Gold Roses to Ali Mau, I was introduced to so many new exciting rose varieties.
If in Wellington, I can't recommend the Welly Walks app enough. The smartphone app allows you to download popular walks around the city and access the guided tour and map while offline. It's perfect if you're traveling without an international cellular plan.
