Classically romantic at The Renaissance in Downtown Cincinnati

Olivia and I connected through her photographer, Lauren Difulvio. It was the best connection because I love any time I get to work with Lauren. She’s an amazing photographer who takes beautiful photos and her brides tend to be as laid back as she is. Let me tell you, I love a chill bride. Especially one with great style like Olivia.

For this gorgeous fall wedding we leaned heavy on the purples. Purple is one of my favorite colors to design with right now. Not necessarily the purple you would see in a crayon box, but instead the great mauves and plums and lavenders that help create a lot of nuance and sophistication to floral arrangements. From clematis to antique hydrangea, to garden roses, this wedding was full of some of my favorite flowers.

There were so many great elements to this wedding, but I have a special fondness for the little army of flower girls and junior bridesmaids. We made a mix sweet flower balls and little posies for the little ladies to carry and my goodness, were they adorable!

Let me continue gushing; I also loved this wedding because it was at one of my favorite venues in Cincinnati, The Renaissance Hotel. The Ren is so gorgeous and Burnam Hall is such a fantastic ballroom with its high ceilings, beautiful gold accents, and great views of Cincinnati’s skyline.

One more great note, then I promise you can look at the pictures, Olivia and Jeff’s wedding was also seamless because they hired Maura Bassman Events to help run the show. Wedding planners are so helpful and Maura’s team in particular is exemplary. They make my job easier.

Okay, okay - now on to the photos!!
