Sam and Gabe's Bright and Colorful Wedding at The Center
Seeing as it's currently gloomy and cold outside (thanks, January!), I'm throwing it back to last June with Sam and Gabe's wedding. This bright and cheery wedding can warm up any chilly winter day.
The florals for this wedding were a personal favorite for me last year, because COLOR! I love using bright and vibrant color while designing and was so happy when Sam and Gabe wanted to incoporate lots of pink, peach, orange, purple, and green. Roses were the focal flower for the wedding and we also added in some local sweet peas (thanks, Mockingbird Flower Farm!) and locally grown clematis courtesy of my dad's garden. The mint greenery also came from the area; Nellie from That Girl's Flowers provided the most beautiful (and best smelling!) mint. One of my favorite floral touches was adding gardenia blooms to the cake. We added the gardenia to honor Sam's grandmother; it was one of her favorite flowers.
The weather was amazing and I'm loving how these vivid bouquets pop in the pictures around Smale Park in Cincinnati. Leah Barry Photography knocked it out of the park with these photos. Doesn't everyone look incredible? I love being able to work with such talented photographers in Cincinnati.
The reception was at The Center in downtown Cincinnati. All of the cheerful decor and florals looked perfect in the venue. It was one of those weddings where you could totally see Sam and Gabe's personality reflected throughout the day. Little personal touches are my favorites and really help the day feel more special.
It was such a pleasure working on this sweet wedding. I'm so happy and excited for these two!
