Wedding Blog Inspiration
I love finding inspiration in some of the most unlikely places; like the colors and texture in a beautiful dish of food or wildflowers growing scattered along a highway. But sometimes it's nice to find inspiration in a more obvious place, like a wedding blog. Wedding blogs are great spots to discover ideas, swoon over real and styled weddings, and see how a couple across the world celebrate their wedding. Luckily there's not a lack of wedding blogs to explore. I've rounded up some of my favorite wedding blogs that I visit when I'm looking to be inspired or perhaps just find my daily dose of pretty.
Adorn Magazine has it all. From the most gorgeous styled shoots to fantastic tips and advice. Their recent wedding shoot at Dunaway Gardens in Georgia was jaw dropping. I'm obsessed with the romance and natural beauty that the gardens provided for the photos.
Confession: I'm a bit of a Francophile. So it's no wonder that I love Un Beau Jour. I adore the real weddings they feature, like Marie and Florian's Civil Ceremony. I don't speak French, so I'm not able to translate much of the text, but the pictures are enough for me.
A perennial favorite, Style Me Pretty can do no wrong. Their recent post on 7 New Wedding Hairstyles You'll Want to Pin Immediately made me want a second wedding just so I could try out the loose glamour up-do.
Magnolia Rouge does an excellent job of featuring weddings from across the world. From their North Carolina vibrant wedding inspiration post to their feature with Sydney wedding florist, Trille Floral, the blog is always providing endless creative moments.
Wedding Sparrow's preference for organic and authentic weddings paired with feature film photography creates some of the most incredible photoshoots I've seen. The natural light sunset in their Luminous Malibu Bridal Session with the colorful large bloom bouquet is a particular favorite of mine.
I love Green Wedding Shoes' real wedding features and their Indian Fusion New Zealand Wedding is no exception. I love the mix of the bride's vibrant red dress and the ceremony location overlooking New Zealand's Opito Bay. The color contrast is just insane and amazing.
Ruffled is constantly featuring colorful and fun weddings. I totally swoon over the floral swing decorated with bougainvillea in one of their recent shoots.
Coastal Bride focuses on gorgeous and classic weddings along the Southeast coast. I loved their recent Historic Romance in Nashville shoot that featured vegetables and herbs in the decor and florals.
Storyboard Wedding publishes wedding features in some of the most interesting locations. From the beach to the desert, Storyboard has it covered. I loved the pinkish backdrop of their recent post, Bohemian Bridals - Favorite Recent post: Bohemian Bridals at Historical LA Purisima Mission.
After living in Charleston, SC for eight years, I can't get Southern Weddings out of my blood. Southern Weddings finds that incredible balance of featuring classic yet innovative Southern weddings. I can't stop swooning over the florals and design in the Simply Jessica Marie Wedding feature.
100 Layer Cake was one of my favorite blog resources when I was planning my own wedding. I'm continuously inspired by the creative wedding ideas they post. I loved the interesting ways the Feminine Vintage Inspired Wedding used florals in furniture as decor at the reception.
The ladies at Snippet & Ink know what they're doing. They are constantly posting jaw-dropping, exciting, and just generally happy posts. The photography they feature feels so heartfelt, I get emotional just viewing the real wedding posts. They're also great with new ideas and DIYs; after reading the DIY How to Make Rosewater, I have a new Christmas gift idea for my besties.
