Modern White and Black Florals in Downtown Cincinnati
Emilia and Daniel’s May wedding was such a fun one. It was a great mix of modern and romantic with some unexpected fun elements. The big moment came from a hanging greenery installation above the ceremony altar (and later on the head table). I love when a venue has suspended installation options, so The Spot on West 5th is one of my favorites. Besides this benefit, I also love the staff at The Spot. They are wonderful and are really committed to providing a unique and fun venue to couples.
For this wedding, we paired white and black florals with heavy greenery. The bridal bouquet was filled with lush peonies, (perfect because Emilia has a peony tattoo!), fun anemones, and fun little ingredients like tweedia and sweet pea. For contrast, the bridesmaids carried slightly asymmetrical babies breath bouquets.
We carried the black accents from the anemones into the reception pieces - black geometric lanterns and black vases for the floral centerpieces.
I absolutely love how Hannah from She Wanders Photography captured the day. I love seeing the emotion through the photographs.
